Water Damage Caused Mold

After a flood event, water was not professionally removed from a commercial property. Water damage sat, untreated, and soaked into the building for some time before the customer called SERVPRO of Atchafalaya.

When our crew arrived on site, they found that mold had grown as a direct result of the water damage going untreated for so long.

SERVPRO of Atchafalaya are trained and certified to mitigate mold damage. Our team removed all of the damaged materials, cleaned and treated the remaining surfaces to prevent future mold growth, and got the facility ready for reconstruction.

We prefer to be able to save our customers the headache of dealing with secondary damage by responding to the initial loss - but we are equipped to handle both scenarios.

After a little insulation, drywall, and paint were added, SERVPRO of Atchafalaya was happy to get this customer's property back to "Like it never even happened."
